strong suggestion about anagrams

Dear Zoners and community leaders,
I am sure that this topic has come up for discussion many times before. However, I would like to bring it up once again. The anagram games are a way of friendly competition amongst our users. We all want to have the satisfaction of learning new vocabulary words through these games. The nasty part of this is when people are allowed to cheat and get away with it every time. A person is only suposed to win every seven days at this anagram game but I am seeing people at the top of the anagrams list every day who have won the previous day and I don't think it's fair for the rest of the users. If cheating on these games can't be controlled or proven in any way, can the players at least not get the points if they won the day before? Thanks.

I agree that people cheat, but really, the cheat is available to anyone that would take the time to google it and figure out how. That's really about all I can say. I don't like the anagrams, and only played once to see what it was like. I did cheat.

I don't believe it says anywhere that you can only win an anagram game once every seven days. You may be thinking of an old set of rules when a name was picked from those who had guessed at least half the total words, and that person would get twice the number of points as the number of words they guessed. At that time, the same name could not be picked more than once a week. But that part of the game has changed, so read the remarks again for each game. Furthermore, there is no way for the admins or CL's to monitor who cheats and who just has a large vocabulary, and there is no way to stop cheaters from playing.

It says that each player who guesses the cashword for the game they're playing wins 1000 points. Say for example you play Anagram Speed and the word is berate. If the randomly picked cashword is arb, and one of the words you guessed correctly was arb, then you get 1000 points for that word. Same with all the other games.
